Alliant is excited to welcome Dan Skinner, PLS, to our Midwest Survey Group.

Dan brings 31+ years of surveying experience supporting transportation, transit, utility, municipal, industrial, and land development projects throughout the Midwest. His background includes technical survey delivery, quality assurance, staff mentorship, and long-standing involvement in the surveying profession through professional organizations and education. Dan is based in the Detroit Lakes area and works closely with Alliant’s Minneapolis office to support clients across the region.

Jerry Ripley, PLS
Director of Survey
Jerry brings more than 30 years of professional land surveying experience and leads Alliant’s Midwest Survey Group, which includes 21 professional, technical, and certified survey staff. His experience includes complex large-scale projects, data collection, critical deliverables, survey crew coordination, and quality control.

Dan Ekrem, PLS
Associate/Survey Office Manager
Dan brings more than 21 years of surveying experience, all with Alliant, and oversees the Midwest Survey CAD Group to support document quality, standards compliance, project requirements, and schedule-driven delivery.

Eric Leither, LSIT
Survey Field Manager
Eric coordinates survey field operations and crew scheduling, supporting project managers across Alliant’s service groups. His experience includes field operations, UAS drones, HD scanning equipment, and construction-related surveying services.
