Our commitment to developing the next generation of talented Alliant employees isn’t just lip service: an incredible 20% of all our employees started as interns.
We believe hiring soon-to-be graduates for an internship is an excellent method for evaluating candidates before bringing them on permanently. Internships at Alliant mean gaining relevant knowledge, building skillsets, experimenting on the job, and establishing important industry connections. And they’re a great way to get your feet wet and learn about our field of work.
Our goal for every intern is to enhance what students learned in school and give them the self-confidence and skills required in any workplace. Internships may be completed part-time during the fall, winter, or spring semester, or full-time over the summer.

New Graduates
Graduating soon? Our new graduate engineers are exposed to a wide array of projects and disciplines and are coached and mentored throughout their careers to ensure they are successful and fulfilled.
Each year we hire many of the best and brightest recent graduates. We typically attend career fairs at colleges and universities in the Upper Midwest. Be sure to swing by our booth for an in-person interview and to learn why Alliant is the place for you.
