The engineering consultant opens Mankato office in historic Brett’s Building to focus on expanding the firm’s offerings in the Midwest region.

Engineering consulting firm Alliant has opened an office in Mankato, Minnesota. The expansion into southern Minnesota will extend the firm’s offering into this rapidly growing portion of the state and beyond.

Leading the Mankato office is industry expert Peter Harff, PE as Associate and Project Manager focused on expanding business in the Midwest region. Before joining Alliant, Harff dedicated his career to serving in various leadership positions within the Minnesota Department of Transportation. He is known and respected state-wide for successfully delivering complex, high-profile projects, and leading state-wide initiatives.

Initially, Alliant’s work in the area will focus on the transportation market, with work for local government and state agency clients. Future plans include expansion into the land development market, a service offering already established in the firm’s Minneapolis and Jacksonville, Florida locations. “Growth like this wouldn’t be possible without all the hard work and outstanding client service our employee-owners put into each project,” said Alliant president and founder John Dillingham.
