As Panama City Beach continues to grow, a new 87-acre medical campus is expanding access to healthcare in the region. Alliant supported the project from early due diligence through construction, leading civil engineering and permitting efforts.
Alliant developed site plans for an 80,000 SF medical office building and an 80-bed hospital, delivering the first phase of the campus while planning infrastructure to support its full buildout, including future expansions of the hospital to a final capacity of 500 beds, as well as additional medical office buildings. A key part of Alliant’s role was designing for phased development from the start. Stormwater and utility systems, including a major master public lift station, were designed to support initial facilities while accommodating future expansion without requiring major reconstruction. We also coordinated with local and state agencies to secure permits and supported access and drainage improvements, while continuing to provide engineering support during construction. This approach allows critical healthcare services to open sooner while setting the foundation for long-term growth.
