Courtyard/Marriott Hotel

Responding to the growing demand for hotel rooms to support conventions and events, Alliant partnered with CSM Corporation to expand an existing Marriott into a dual-branded Courtyard/Marriott hotel in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

The new Courtyard by Marriott sits alongside the full-service Marriott Minneapolis West. This expansion adds 142 rooms, replacing portions of previously unused asphalt parking with significantly more green space. A beautifully designed outdoor gathering area now connects the two hotels, offering a calming retreat for hotel guests to unwind in an inviting, natural area. Alliant’s Landscape Architects introduced a meandering entry path and tiered planting height to soften the adjacent buildings and create a calming, human-scale experience.  The result is an expansion that not only enhances the guest experience but also transforms the site into a more welcoming and vibrant environment.
