Alliant has been selected multiple times by MnDOT through competitive processes to prepare and update County Road Safety Plans (CRSP) around Minnesota, with more than a dozen plans completed or currently underway. The safety plans are part of a statewide initiative to improve traffic safety and reduce fatal and serious injury crashes across all 87 counties in Minnesota.
Alliant developed and applied an efficient, cost-effective location prioritization tool and led the redesign of reformatted decision trees to enhance usability, clarity, and decision-making impact. In the second phase of our work, MnDOT requested Alliant to edit and update statewide baseline safety plan document, improving readability, consistency, and overall understanding.
Alliant provided technical leadership as part of the multi-consultant team, providing insights and fresh perspectives. Alliant coordinated with a range of County and MnDOT stakeholders to successfully develop and deliver each plan, including providing leadership at stakeholder workshops.
