Columbia Heights City Hall and Mixed-Use Development

This project involved the development of a new municipal City Hall integrated with a multi-story residential component on a constrained urban infill site. The project required careful coordination between public facility requirements and private development elements to create a cohesive, functional, and community-oriented environment.

Alliant provided civil engineering and site design services including grading, stormwater management, utilities, access and circulation, and coordination with public infrastructure systems. The project required balancing municipal operational needs with residential accessibility and public interface, while working within established site constraints.

The design addresses pedestrian connectivity, site access, and stormwater management in an urban environment, ensuring long-term functionality and maintainability. The project demonstrates Alliant’s ability to deliver integrated site solutions for civic and institutional facilities with multiple stakeholders and program elements.
